About

Located in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region, Pourvoirie du Lac Paul awaits you on its island in the heart of a 98 km² exclusive-rights territory (26 lakes, 2 rivers). Access is by a wide, well-maintained forest road up to km 168, then a 10-minute pontoon crossing to the island. Lac Paul (16 km²) teems with native brook trout (average catch 12 inches); you can also try for pike on the nearby Manouane River. Each summer, about ten other bodies of water are opened on a rotation. Lodging in fully equipped cabins (European plan, self-sufficient) with hot water, shower, stove, wood stove and BBQ. LUND 14' jumbo boats with 4-stroke 8 HP motors provided; gutting, preparation and preservation of the catch included. In June, bear hunting (zone 29, baited sites) is offered on its own or in a fishing combo; moose hunting is also available. An AIR MÉDIC–certified outfitter.
