About

Pourvoirie Club Colonial spreads across more than 80 km² of protected, exclusive territory northwest of Lac-Saint-Jean, between the Ashuapmushuan wildlife reserve and the Haute-Mauricie reserve. Its 49 lakes and rivers offer exceptionally productive fishing: brook trout, lake trout (touladi) and pike. Moose hunting is renowned here, the territory being naturally fed by the Ashuapmushuan wildlife reserve that forms its northern boundary; spring bear hunting is also offered (advertised 85% success rate). Lodging is in fully equipped 4-star cabins (hot water, shower, toilet, propane BBQ and stove, wood stove, fridge, freezer space, dishes, coffee maker, fondue stove), from the European plan to the American plan with 3 meals a day. Family packages (canoeing, swimming, beach, children's playground), relaxation packages and business packages (12-seat conference room) round out the offering. Accessible by car or by floatplane.

Located northwest of Lac-Saint-Jean, between the Ashuapmushuan wildlife reserve and the Haute-Mauricie reserve; accessible by car or by floatplane. GPS coordinates: 48°44'30" N, 73°34'45" W (topographic map #32A12). By car: from Route 167 at Saint-Félicien, continue to km 84, turn left onto road L-204 to km 42, then continue 1 km on the forest road to the outfitter following the signage.
