Agreement to these terms

These terms of use form an agreement between you and Pourvoo, an independent directory operated in Quebec (“Pourvoo,” “we”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. We may update these terms from time to time; the date above indicates the version in effect.

A directory, not a booking agent

Pourvoo lists Quebec outfitters to help you compare and choose. We do not arrange, sell or guarantee any trip. All bookings, payments and contracts are made directly between you and the outfitter. When you use the contact form, we simply forward your message to the outfitter on your behalf; the relationship that follows is between you and them.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep listings accurate and current, but information comes partly from public and third-party sources. Prices, packages, dates and availability can change without notice. Always confirm details directly with the outfitter before deciding or booking. Pourvoo makes no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Pourvoo in good faith and lawfully. In particular, you agree not to:

• use the contact form to send spam, solicitation, or any abusive, fraudulent or unlawful content;
• scrape, copy or bulk-reuse the site’s content through automated means (bots, scrapers) without our permission;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its systems or data, or to disrupt its operation;
• use the service for commercial purposes without our prior consent.

Intellectual property

The “Pourvoo” name, logo and presentation, as well as the selection and arrangement of the site’s data, belong to us or are licensed to us, and are protected by applicable law. Outfitter trademarks, names and photos remain the property of their respective owners. You may view and share listings for your personal use; any other reproduction requires our permission.

Third-party sites

Pourvoo contains links to outfitters’ websites and other third-party services. We have no control over those sites and assume no responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or any transactions you make there. Their use is governed by their own terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that the information it contains will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Pourvoo and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site, your reliance on the information it contains, or your dealings and transactions with an outfitter. As the service is free for visitors, our total liability to you is in all cases limited to CA$50.

Indemnification

You agree to hold Pourvoo and its operator harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of a third party's rights.

Privacy

Your use of Pourvoo is also governed by our privacy policy, linked in the footer, which explains how we handle personal information. By using the site, you accept its practices.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Before starting any proceedings, you agree to write to us at support@pourvoo.ca and to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Failing that, any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec, District of Montreal.
