About

Aventures Nipissi offers a wilderness stay on an exclusive-rights territory north of Dolbeau-Mistassini, in the taiga of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean (zone 29). The centerpieces are lakes Maupertuis and Piraube, teeming with brook trout (speckled trout), lake trout (grey trout), northern pike and burbot — a true fishing paradise on waters of incomparable quality. It is also ideal habitat for moose and bear hunting: an exclusive 212 km² territory split into four managed sectors (salt licks and stands), by bow, crossbow or firearm, plus small-game hunting. For families, enjoy sandy beaches in shallow water, wildlife viewing (moose, bear, small game, woodland caribou) and an Indigenous archaeological site on the territory. Lodging is in fully equipped cabins, European plan.
