Fishing bountiful waters, landing a huge pike or a record walleye, tracking a moose with magnificent antlers or a black bear: this is what these two destinations on the Gouin Reservoir offer the genuine fishing and hunting enthusiast. Marmette-sur-le-Gouin, established since 1960 on the Gouin Reservoir, lets you go after the "trophy" you covet in the utmost comfort, with tailormade service; stay in a cottage or in a houseboat (a fleet for 4 to 10 people) and explore Marmette Bay. Lac Demi-Lune, in existence since 1995, is an exclusive-rights territory bordered by the Gouin Reservoir to the west and the Nemio River to the east, welcoming a limited number of anglers and hunters. Walleye and northern pike fishing, moose, black bear and small-game hunting, plus holiday stays, wild-berry picking in season, and canoe and kayak exploration. Lodging is in cottages (groups of 2 to 10; six reachable by vehicle, the others by boat) spread across the Marmette Bay and Lac Demi-Lune sectors. Access : By road · Fly-in

Road access via Parent (rail stop and the Magasin Général Parent service station), then the Clova road: at km 31 turn right, keep right at km 51 (Camp Kawai), right at km 58, left at km 0.7, right at km 6.9. For Marmette: at km 5 turn right and continue 6 km. For Lac Demi-Lune: at km 5 continue to km 7, the red guardian's cabin is on the left. Allow about 1 hour of driving from Parent to each outfitter. Floatplane access is possible to both outfitters; a train runs to Parent (about 1 hour's drive away). Some cottages are reachable by vehicle, the others by boat.
