La Pourvoirie du lac Oscar, in La Tuque in the Haute-Mauricie, is a vast 234 km² natural territory run by the Farrar family, who acquired it in 1987 — a territory then reachable only by floatplane and today reached by car. In the heart of zone 26, it brings together white-pine chalets on the water, eight trout lakes and the majestic Réservoir Blanc, navigable over more than 80 km. Anglers fish brook trout and lake trout on the trout lakes, walleye and pike on Réservoir Blanc, with family packages and new chalets (2022-2023) designed for 2 to 4 people. On the hunting side: moose across large exclusive sectors (12 to 28 km²), small game (partridge, spruce grouse, hare) and, in spring, bear over guided baited sites. The outfitter also offers a wellness retreat (meditation, conscious breathing and Qi Gong) and outdoor activities — kayak, paddleboard, hiking trails and sand beaches. The fully equipped chalets (kitchen, BBQ, private beach) run on propane and solar power; the water is not potable.

Access : By road

Car access (territory once reachable only by floatplane). From La Tuque: on Route 155 North take the first exit for La Tuque, then follow the blue government signs for Pourvoirie Oscar; then take forestry road 25 West.
