La Pourvoirie du Lac Oscar

Pourvoirie du lac Oscar spreads across a 234 km² exclusive territory of wild forest in Haute-Mauricie, at La Tuque, in zone 26. The majestic Réservoir Blanc borders the outfitter and is navigable for more than 80 km for walleye and pike fishing, while some thirty brook trout and lake trout lakes, two streams and a trout river are scattered through the mixed conifer and hardwood forest. On the hunting side, the territory is divided into exclusive sectors of 12 to 28 km² for moose hunting in groups of four, hosts guided spring black bear hunts over baited sites, and opens to small game — partridge, spruce grouse and hare — from mid-October. Around twenty white pine cottages, all on the water on large private lots and several with direct access to a sand beach, are spread across the territory to preserve quiet and privacy; the newest ones, built in 2022 and 2023, offer large windows onto the lake and a private dock. Swimming, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, hiking, cycling, blueberry and mushroom picking, wildlife watching and Perseid stargazing round out the stay, and a meditation, breathwork and Qi Gong retreat is also offered.
