About

In the heart of the Haute-Mauricie, Pourvoirie Québec Azimut sits on a 104 km² exclusive territory (zones 26 and 28), dotted with more than 25 lakes and bordered by Réservoir Blanc and the Jolie River. Anglers fish four native species — pike, walleye, brook trout (speckled) and lake trout (grey) — while hunters pursue moose (territory split into sectors of about 12 km², with blinds and salt licks set up), small game (partridge, hare, woodcock) and, in some seasons, black bear. Lodging is European-plan: 9 renovated rustic waterfront cabins (propane-powered, solar lighting, non-potable running water, BBQ and fire pit) and a friendly 4-bedroom inn sleeping 12, with a bar and a covered terrace. Wilderness camping is also available. Children 12 and under stay free, and 13- to 15-year-olds at half price. Dogs are welcome ($25 per animal per stay).
