About

In the heart of the Mauricie region, in zone 26 near La Tuque, Pourvoirie du Domaine Desmarais covers a 107 km² exclusive-rights territory teeming with wildlife. The abundance of game supports bear, moose and small-game hunting (ptarmigan, partridge, ruffed grouse, spruce grouse and hare). Its 32 lakes brim with brook trout and lake trout (grey trout), while the Vermillon River offers spirited fishing for walleye and northern pike. The fully equipped cabins, completely renovated and solar-powered, host groups of 2 to 16 people. The outfitter offers a wide range of land and water activities: an aquatic play structure, kayaking, pedal boats, paddle boarding, mountain biking, hiking, and berry and wild-mushroom picking. Ideal for a family vacation as much as for a hunting-and-fishing escape.
