Pourvoirie DE LA Baie Des Anges

About
Pourvoirie de la Baie des Anges inc. (formerly Pourvoirie du lac Kakuskanus) is a family business in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, established in a bay of lac Kakuskanus (nearly 11 km long), south of the réservoir Pipmuacan, deep in forest country north of the 49th parallel. It gives access to nine lakes, two of them exclusive (lac à l'Ours and lac Blanc, a maximum of 2 catches per stay on lac Blanc), for fishing brook trout (speckled trout), lake trout (touladi) and the splake/brook-lake hybrid. Beyond fishing, you can also hunt moose and black bear. Two chalets are available for rent — the chalet de la chute (3 to 10 people) and the chalet de la plage (3 to 8 people) — both with a full bathroom featuring a ceramic shower and hot water, a functional propane kitchen, a wood fireplace and fully solar lighting. The outfitter has a strong environmental conscience (solar system, fleet of more economical motors, waste management).
