Rabaska Lodge

Rabaska Lodge is a four-season resort set on the shores of the Baskatong reservoir, a true inland sea of 320 km², in the heart of the Hautes-Laurentides at Ferme-Neuve. Sixteen warm cottages are scattered right along the water, each with a living-room fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, private outdoor spa, BBQ and fire pit — from the cottage for two to the three-bedroom Prestige cottages (a private bathroom in every bedroom) and the Grand Rabaska, four bedrooms and two bathrooms for sixteen people. On the camping side: twenty quiet nature sites, daily three-service sites for motorhomes, and more than 150 serviced seasonal sites along the shore from May 15 to October 15. The Baskatong teems with fish — walleye, pike and river trout, but also bass, sturgeon, landlocked salmon, lake trout and char — fished on an all-inclusive package with 15 hp motorboats and bait provided; a fishing guide with boat is available on request. At the marina you can rent boats, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, and you will find a visitor dock, a boat launch, seasonal slips and a gas station for boat, RV and car. In winter and fall the lodge opens directly onto 4,000 km of federated snowmobile trails and 2,000 km of quad and side-by-side trails, with Windigo Falls and the summit of Montagne du Diable as the highlights. At the lodge: a well-regarded kitchen built on local flavours, a bar, a terrace above the marina, a dining room and a function room seating 120 — and a pool table. Founded by Dominique Coquel and Martin Gamache, with partner Marco Léonard, all three with more than thirty years in tourism.
