Pourvoirie du Pêcheur

On the shore of lac Tapani, in the Hautes-Laurentides, Pourvoirie du Pêcheur brings together cabins, camping, fishing and hunting in a setting of forest and a long fine-sand beach. Seven fully equipped cabins — electricity, hot water, shower, toilet, full kitchen, dishes, outdoor BBQ and fire pit — face the beach, sleeping 2 to 6 people, including a recently renovated cabin next to the dock. The three-service campsites (water, 30-amp electricity, sewer) welcome tents, tent trailers, trailers and motorhomes, with a recent sanitary block. Lac Tapani, more than 6 km long, is fished for walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, bass and whitefish, and a private lake is reserved for brook trout; the outfitter rents boats with motor and gas as well as a pontoon dock, and a fishing guide is available. On the hunting side, the territory holds black bear, white-tailed deer, woodcock, ruffed grouse, pheasant and hare: the bear and deer packages are self-guided, while a specialist guide accompanies the woodcock hunt. Kayak, pedal boat and paddle board are free for everyone, and the surrounding trails can be ridden by ATV. Your hosts: Nathalie and Marco.
