Founded in 1980, Pourvoirie Michel St-Louis is a family-run outfitter in Lac-du-Cerf, in the heart of the Hautes-Laurentides on the edge of the Outaouais, where the owners welcome and serve you themselves. Its private hunting sector of over 2,500 acres, with tree stands and baited sites, is suited to hunting deer, bear, wild turkey and small game (hare, ruffed grouse) by rifle, bow or black powder, with a guide and daily baiting; the spring bear hunt takes place on an exclusive 856 km² territory in the Papineau-Labelle wildlife reserve. Anglers have access to 5 water bodies, including 2 exclusive lakes, holding 7 species depending on season and location: brook trout, rainbow trout, lake trout, walleye, muskellunge, pike and bass. For lodging, 4 chalets sleeping 6 to 14 and two trailers line Lac-du-Cerf, and the forest campground on the shore of Petit Lac-du-Cerf offers serviced or wilderness sites, with a boat launch and dock. On site: a relais with full restaurant service, terrace and liquor licence, rowboat and pontoon rentals, and direct access to the federated snowmobile and ATV trails.
