On the shore of the Baskatong Reservoir, in Ferme-Neuve in the Hautes-Laurentides, Pourvoirie Club Fontbrune welcomes families and groups of friends year-round. Fifteen fully equipped lakeview chalets — electricity, heating, wood fireplace, full kitchen, hot water, shower — sleep 2 to 12 people, alongside an island refuge, a trailer for rent, 35 seasonal full-service campsites, occasional campsites and six wilderness sites on the far shore, reachable only by boat. Lac Piscatosine teems with walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, lake whitefish, lake trout, smallmouth bass and landlocked salmon; motorboats, fishing and cruising pontoons, jet skis, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards are available to rent, and a fishing guide can be booked on reservation. In the fall, the outfitter offers a white-tailed deer hunting package with chalet lodging and a baited blind per hunter, plus small-game hunting on non-exclusive territory in zone 11. In winter, the Coureurs des bois trails run right through the yard: snowmobiling, quad riding, snowshoeing on a 4 km trail, ice fishing from a heated hut, an outdoor rink, a hot tub and a sauna. On site, a bar-restaurant serves breakfast, a snack-bar lunch and a four-course table d'hôte, and a convenience store rounds out the services.

Access : By road

Road access. Take Route 309 North to Ferme-Neuve; at the entrance to the village, turn left onto montée Leblanc and continue 31 km to the outfitter (at km 31). The first twenty kilometres are paved; the last ten are unpaved but remain drivable even in a small car at a reduced speed. There is no cell service at the outfitter — signal returns around km 29 on montée Leblanc, or in a few spots out on the lake; free Wi-Fi is available at the lodge. The island refuge and the six wilderness campsites, on the far shore of the lake, are reachable only by boat. Premium fuel available on site. GPS coordinates: 46.8842944, -75.6366377.
