About

Quoquochee Plein Air welcomes you to the heart of the Haute-Mauricie forests, on the Réservoir Blanc and its tributaries — Lac Flamand, the Flamand, Saint-Maurice, Windigo, Jolie and Pierriche rivers, the great Whitefish Bay (Mc Tavish) and Coucoucache Bay. Navigate 125 km of open water lined with striking cliffs, coves, beaches and islands. A family outfitter born from the breakup of the Mc Tavish club (1978) and heir to the Atikamekw warden Joe Quoquochi, after whom it is named. Lodging spans two sites (Mc Tavish and Lac Flamand): rustic wood-stove cabins, five motel units, and an 85-site campground along Lac Flamand with a fine-sand beach and boat launch. Come to fish for walleye, pike and perch (guide available), hunt moose, bear and small game, or simply enjoy swimming, canoeing, hiking, berry-picking, campfires and, in winter, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and ice fishing.
