About
Set on the shores of Réservoir Gouin in the Haute-Mauricie, Pourvoirie Martin offers rustic, recently renovated cabins fully equipped for cooking your own meals, on a boreal territory that has kept the natural charm of the old-growth forest. Sport fishing is enjoyed by the day or by package, from a boat we provide or your own: on the menu, chiefly walleye, pike and yellow perch. On the hunting side, the outfitter offers spring black bear over baited sites (40 sites with tree stands, an 85-90% success rate), moose in zones 13 and 14, and partridge. In winter, snowmobile, quad and side-by-side extend the adventure, with the option of a traditional meal with the Atikamekw First Nation. Lodging is available on the American plan (meals included) or the European plan. Swimming, berry picking, hiking and a shore lunch are open to all. Please note: dogs are not allowed on site (only the mascot, Anouchka, watches over the grounds). Ghislain and his team look forward to welcoming you.

Access : By road
Located northwest of Réservoir Gouin, in the Haute-Mauricie. No paved road reaches the reservoir: access is via forest roads (a suitable vehicle is recommended). The villages of Parent and Clova, about 40 km south of the reservoir, are also served by train (VIA Rail). Réservoir Gouin access fees apply.
