About
Since 2008, Katerine LeCavalier and Bruno Caron have welcomed guests to Pourvoirie Waban-Aki, a vast 110 km² territory in the Mauricie region devoted to fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Two rivers and about twenty lakes hold native and stocked brook trout, and Lac Collet is home to moulac trout; thanks to rigorous management and habitat work, the fishing is excellent from spring through summer. On the hunting side, eight exclusive territories of more than 10 km² each are set aside for moose (groups of 2 to 4 hunters, one moose per group), alongside American-plan bear hunting — known for both the quantity and the quality of the game — and small-game hunting on a game-rich, lightly-hunted territory. But the outfitter is far more than fishing and hunting: free-access kayaks and paddleboards, a games room, dog-sledding excursions in winter, horseback rides in summer, and a new glamping experience in the Wabanadômes. Whether you are after adventure, relaxation or family time, a warm welcome and attentive service make every stay unforgettable.

Road access. The outfitter is located at 1, Lac Dépôt, in the La Tuque area of the Mauricie region. An SUV is strongly recommended to reach the site (notably for the Wabanadômes).
