About

Pourvoirie Sud du lac Choiseul is an exclusive-rights outfitter run by the Sigouin family for generations, in the wild north of Quebec. Founded in 1924 by Frank Sigouin senior and his brothers Elie and Jos — the site was then the family home — it spans a 50 km² territory with two large lakes: Lac Choiseul (about 9 km wide, at the heart of the historic site) and Lac Capitachouane (12 km wide, completely isolated). Both lakes hold walleye and pike. Lodging is in three cabins: the Green cabin (6 people, on the shore of Lac Choiseul), the Grande Maison (the historic family house built in the 1940s, 12+ beds, period decor) and the Capitachouane Cabins (a very remote site, capacity 10). A dream destination for fishing enthusiasts and nature lovers.
