La Réserve Beauchêne Société en Commandite

About
La Réserve Beauchêne is a magnificent 205.7 km² (over 50,000 acres) exclusive territory tucked into the high hills of Quebec, in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, with a stunning view across the Ottawa River valley toward Ontario. It holds nearly 40 fish-rich lakes home to 7 fish species — one of the widest varieties of any single area in Quebec: smallmouth bass, brook trout, lake trout, walleye, northern pike, whitefish and splake (a brook-trout/lake-trout cross). A pioneer of Catch & Release in Quebec, the reserve offers renowned fishing, plus moose hunting (VIP format, only 4 guests per week during the rut), spring black-bear hunting and small-game hunting (grouse, hare). Lodging is full-board (American Plan) at the White House, in the cabins and the luxury 'Bird' chalets, or self-catering (European Plan) in three remote outpost camps. Resort activities include hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming and birding. Drive-to access.

VIP American Plan format: only 4 guests per week access the 50,000-acre territory during the rut, staying in the luxury 'Bird' Chalets; rates 'same as fishing' per the operator (see Bird Chalets package: from $1,500/chalet/night) — the operator says 'Please inquire with lodge' for the specific hunt package, so the American-Plan hunt rate is not explicitly published. European Plan format — Moose Cabin (6 persons), rates read from the 'american_plan_rates_eng_2026-7' image on /packages/ (re-verified 2026-06-21): 3 nights $6,985, 4 nights $9,175, 7 nights $13,970; additional person (max 4) $1,045 / $1,390 / $2,090. priceFrom = $6,985 (lowest published hunt rate, Moose Cabin 3 nights, per group).
