About
Le Pavillon du Lac Guéguen is a vacation and cabin-rental outfitter on the shore of Lac Guéguen, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, on the northern edge of Parc de la Vérendrye. It rents fully equipped cabins (shower, wireless internet, BBQ, some with a hot tub), trailers and campsites, plus two boat-access-only cabins (Le Gilligan and Red Devil). Known for the quantity and quality of its catches, Lac Guéguen holds plenty of walleye (regularly 2 to 3 pounds) and northern pike. The docks are electrified to recharge marine batteries, and the outfitter rents motorboats (gas included). In winter, guests can ice-fish (cabin for rent), snowshoe, cross-country ski and snowmobile. The territory also offers good spots for small-game hunting (partridge) and black bear, by bow or firearm. Canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and paddle boards are provided at no charge, and a sandy beach rounds out the site. Owners since 2018: Vianne and Éric.
