Pourvoirie Sauterelle

About
A gem of the Haute-Mauricie, Pourvoirie Lac Sauterelle spreads across an exclusive 60 km² territory reachable only by floatplane, after a 35-minute flight from Ste-Anne-du-Lac. The 5-km-long Lac Sauterelle opens, via maintained trails, onto about ten neighbouring lakes where a boat and motor await you: a mountainous domain devoted to native brook trout fishing among the best preserved in Quebec. Three cabins, grouped together on a site with mountain views, are solar-powered and offer a full bathroom (hot-water shower, indoor toilet), drinking water, a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, wood stove and a fish house. In hunting season, this vast exclusive-rights territory hosts up to four parties in the same week for moose hunting, on sectors laid out with trails, salt licks and blinds. European plan: bring your own food and enjoy the quiet and isolation, from spring to fall, with hiking trails as a bonus to explore the surrounding wilderness. A family business serving anglers and hunters for more than 55 years.
