Pourvoirie Némiskau

Founded in 2002 by businessman Réal Hogue, Pourvoirie Némiskau is a fishing and lakeside-getaway destination located 75 km north of La Tuque, in the Mauricie region, on the historic territory of the Attikamek people. Brook trout, the star species, populate every one of the exploited lakes in great numbers, while the lake trout (touladi) of Lakes Pal and Rose deliver surprising fights; all the lakes are reachable without portage. Fishing packages come as an American plan (all-inclusive, with meals, boat, motor, gas, field dressing, vacuum-sealing and freezing) or an à-la-carte European plan, with family and corporate rates available. The north-east territory, recently opened up by the forestry industry, is dedicated to guided black-bear hunting over closed baited blinds (zone 26). The estate includes an inn with gastronomic dining, 20 cabins (some off the main site) and 20 pavilion units, plus canoeing, kayaking, a pontoon boat, guided forest tours, water games, a beach, massage therapy, spas and saunas. Since January 2019, the Roberge family (Bertrand and his daughter Peggy) has run the operation.
