Air Tamarac is a family-run outfitter specializing in fishing and moose hunting reachable only by floatplane. The business operates three pourvoiries totalling 24 comfortable, fully-equipped chalets (running water, hot water, solar lighting): Pourvoirie Lac Hébert (including Lac Charlotte) in the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James territory, Pourvoirie Lac Sauterelle in Haute-Mauricie, and Pourvoirie au Réservoir Gouin (including Lac Angèle). Five renowned wilderness territories deliver quality fishing: walleye and northern pike at Réservoir Gouin, Lac Hébert, Lac Charlotte and Lac Angèle, and exclusive-rights brook trout at Lac Sauterelle. Moose hunting takes place on two well-appointed exclusive territories (trails, salt licks, tree stands), at Lac Angèle and Lac Sauterelle, with a limit of one moose per territory. Serving anglers and hunters for more than 55 years, Air Tamarac also runs an air-taxi service (floatplane charters).
