About

Pourvoirie Rohault is a family outfitter in the heart of the wilderness of the Chibougamau region, founded about 27 years ago and taken over in November 2022 by Rock and Johanne, who renamed it "Pourvoirie Rohault" (formerly "Pourvoirie du Lac Rohault"). The territory has seven rustic natural-wood cabins spread over two lakes: three on Lac Bouteroue and four on the larger Lac Rohault, with capacities ranging from 2-3 up to 10 people. Fishing reigns here — walleye, northern pike and lake trout (grey trout) — on fish-rich waters, with a boat included on request and a boat launch on both lakes. In fall, the forests are well suited to small-game hunting and hiking. Lodging is on the European plan: cabins with a fully equipped kitchen (water not potable; bring food, bedding and towels). Pets welcome.

Good to know

Activity advertised on the homepage ('Fall transforms our forests… ideal for small-game hunting') but no dedicated package or price is published. No image/PDF/doc rate sheet found. No small-game-specific price (0 money tokens after full sweep); lodging would presumably use the per-night cabin rate ($90–95/pers/night) but this is not stated explicitly for hunting. priceFrom left null: activity offered but no hunting price published. Exact species not detailed on the site (generic small game).
