About
In the heart of an 87 km² exclusive territory in zone 26 (Mauricie), Pourvoirie Club DD brings together 29 lakes and the quiet of the forest. Known for brook trout (mouchetée) fishing, several drive-accessible lakes offer a possession limit of 10 trout. The territory, divided into 12 exclusive sectors of about 6.5 km², makes for excellent moose hunting, black bear hunting (guided, over a baited site) and small-game hunting (ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, hare, woodcock). In summer, the Family Vacation package adds swimming, pedal boats, kayaks, canoes, paddle board, kids' games, hiking, biking and wild-berry picking. Lodging is in 10 rustic cabins (5 on the main site, 5 at remote sites) sleeping 2 to 12, on the European plan: solar lighting and fridge, propane stove, running non-potable water, toilet, shower, wood heat, BBQ and an outdoor fire pit. A mini convenience store, WiFi and a freezer are available at reception; pets are welcome.
