In the maple and oak forests of the Outaouais, Outaouais Big Game Hunting is an outfitter devoted to big-game hunting: white-tailed deer, black bear and wild turkey. It gives you access to more than 20 hunting sites active for over ten years, to several exclusive private parcels of 100 to 500 acres, and to more than 30,000 acres of open territory, with sectors rotated every five years so the wildlife can regenerate. The team brings more than 25 years of experience in the bush and 12 years of professional guiding; packages are sold without a guide, with the option to be accompanied. You stay in comfortable, fully equipped cabins — all 10 to 25 minutes from the hunting sectors — at a campsite, or in an RV with power. Every bear hunting stay includes fishing rights: Lac Sainte-Marie for walleye, pike and lake trout, plus a few small remote lakes for brook trout — bring your own boat. Harvest rules apply: the legal antler-size regulation for deer, and no does with fawns. Group discounts are available, and one youth hunter aged 12 to 14 per group hunts free.
