Pourvoirie de la Lièvre

Set on the banks of the rivière du Lièvre in Bowman, in the Outaouais, Pourvoirie de la Lièvre has been welcoming outdoor lovers since 1941. Its 10 rustic cabins — built from the mature trees that once lined the river — sleep 1 to 16 people and are equipped from top to bottom: full kitchen, wood stove, bathroom and shower, basic bedding provided, BBQ, Wi-Fi, boat launch and beach on site. Dogs and cats are welcome (fees apply). For anglers, a private lake teems with brook trout and smallmouth bass and is fished from a boat with an electric motor, while guided outings for walleye, pike and bass are offered by the half-day or the full day. In winter, all-inclusive ice fishing — hut, holes and equipment — takes place on the ice of Lac Brochet. Hunters get an exclusive 15 km² zone per party for white-tailed deer, with baited sites and tree stands already active, plus guided wild turkey hunting on an exclusive agro-forestry territory of more than 15,000 acres. Add 35 km of calm river to explore by canoe, kayak or pontoon, marked hiking trails starting right at the cabins, and snowshoe rentals in winter.
