Pourvoirie Obaska sits on the shore of Lac Tiblemont, an 18-kilometre lake dotted with islands, in the heart of the village of Obaska in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Founded in 1960 and taken over in 2018 by a family from the village, it has been welcoming visitors for more than 60 years in the middle of the boreal forest. Stay in a waterfront cabin (1 to 6 people, equipped kitchen, air conditioning, patio BBQ and WiFi), in a 26-foot Avenger ready-to-camp trailer, or on one of the large 50 x 50-foot campsites with water, 30-amp electricity, sewer, picnic table and fire pit. On site: a beach, a free boat launch ramp, a small marina and dock spaces, a bistro and a service building with showers. For fishing, a guide takes you out by boat after walleye and northern pike on Lac Tiblemont and Lac Pascalis, for a half day, a full day, or a getaway on a remote lake. In the fall, guided black bear packages over baited sites include transport to the hunting site and storage for your animal. A 16-foot boat with a 20 HP motor, firewood delivered to your site, fishing tackle and Obaska-branded merchandise round out the offering.

Access : By road

Direct road access: the outfitter sits on Route 113, in the heart of the village of Obaska, on the shore of Lac Tiblemont (Abitibi-Témiscamingue). On-site parking (2 cars included per unit, $5 per day per extra car). A free boat launch ramp, a small marina and dock spaces ($10/day or $400/season) let you arrive or move around by boat on the lake. The campground accepts rigs up to 46 feet (14.02 m) long.
