About

Set at the entrance to the Zec Martin-Valin in Saint-Fulgence, Pourvoirie Monts-Valin du Archer holds a game-rich territory with exclusive hunting and fishing rights spanning 52 km², in the heart of the Monts-Valin. It has 42 native-trout lakes (brook trout), part of the Croissant Vermeil, one of the largest reproduction sites for pure native trout in Quebec, plus 2 little-fished rivers. The territory, one of the highest in the area at 620 m of elevation, is reachable by car on well-maintained roads (the site is at km 83). Here you can fish (American or European plan), hunt moose (two exclusive baited zones, 25 km² per party) and hunt black bear over baited sites, along with summer family packages, off-trail snowmobiling in winter, and many other activities (kayak, pedal boat, mountain biking, ATV, hiking, swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, watching the northern lights). Access : By road

Road access via well-maintained forest roads, at the entrance of Zec Martin-Valin in Saint-Fulgence. From Quebec City: Route 175 North toward Chicoutimi, cross the Dubuc bridge (toward Chicoutimi-Nord), Route 172 toward Tadoussac past the village of St-Fulgence, then turn left onto chemin R-200 (Zec Martin-Valin, opposite the former Produits Forestiers Résolu sawmill) and drive 40 km, turn right and drive another 40 km following the signs.
