Pourvoirie Maxime M et D

About
In the heart of a vast coniferous forest along the Abitibi route, at the wild gateway to Haute-Mauricie, Pourvoirie Maxime unfolds across a territory some twenty kilometres in extent, crossed by Lakes Maxime and Robert, which offer more than 13 kilometres of pristine landscapes and fish-filled waters. Here you can fish for walleye and pike, hunt moose and black bear, and hunt partridge (ruffed grouse) and hare, in a preserved setting where guest capacity is deliberately limited to guarantee calm and quiet. Renowned for its partridge hunting, the outfitter stays open after the moose season for small game. Lodging is in 7 rustic cottages rated 3 and 4 stars, sleeping 4 to 11 people: some sit by the reception area and others farther out, including one on an island. Each cottage is fully equipped (full kitchen, woodstove with unlimited firewood, running-water toilet, shower, drinking water, WiFi and TV). In winter, a snowmobile package with supper, accommodation and breakfast is also offered.
