Pavillon La Vérendrye is a 150 km² exclusive-rights outfitter in the Outaouais, on the edge of the La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve, with 23 exclusive hunting territories. Black bear hunting (May 15 to June 30) is the outfitter's specialty: numerous sites baited regularly across a vast territory to the west. Moose hunting takes place on exclusive territories (minimum 4 hunters), and small-game hunting — spruce grouse, ruffed grouse and hare — on 75 km² of exclusive territory per group, with or without a dog. For fishing, several lakes and a river offer excellent walleye and pike fishing, in the quiet of a secluded cabin a few kilometres from the services of the main lodge. Lodging includes 8 hunting and fishing cabins (indoor toilet, shower and hot water, wood stove, fridge, propane stove and a 'fish house' for filleting fish) plus rooms at the main lodge, which has a bar with a big screen. In winter, a snowmobile relay offers accommodation, gas service and meals in a dining room with bar.
