About

Pourvoirie du Pavillon Richer spreads across 240 km² of unspoiled nature in the Outaouais, dotted with more than 42 lakes including Grand Lac Échouani (23 km long), which is home to the main lodge. Known for its trophy walleye and its pike fishing, the territory also offers moose hunting (5 exclusive territories of about 45 km² leased by the week since 2022, max 15 parties/season), small-game hunting (more than 500 km of trails: partridge/ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, hare) and, in spring, bear hunting. Lodging is in fully equipped chalets (European plan), from the chalet on the lodge site to brand-new remote chalets. Owners since 2012: Jessica and Éric.

Re-verified 2026-08-06: the /activities/chasse-ours/ page still shows a 'Bear hunt package' card at USD $2,490 per person (taxes and licence included, self-guided/DIY; includes lodging, baited sites, field dressing, freezer, boat/motor/gas). BUT the same page still clearly states 'No hunt for the 2026 season — Working towards a new formula for the 2027 spring bear hunt season.' priceFrom left null: (1) the hunt is not offered in 2026 and a new formula (hence new pricing) is being prepared for 2027; (2) the rate is quoted in US dollars, not CAD — folding it into the CAD roll-up would mislead. The USD $2,490 figure is kept here for reference. Bow or rifle hunt over baited sites.
