Pourvoirie Le Goéland sits on the shore of Lac Édouard in the Mauricie region, within zone 15 (topographic map 31P9). Lodging is European-plan — guests prepare their own meals — in 3 upscale lake-view condos (2 to 10 people) and 3 clean, well-equipped cabins (2 to 6 people), all with an equipped kitchen, electricity, hot water and a lake-facing balcony. Here you fish for brook trout and yellow perch (on-site boat launch and fish-cleaning shelter, boat and motor rental available) and hunt moose (without an exclusive territory) and small game — partridge, hare, woodcock and duck — with a guide on request. In winter the territory is suited to snowmobiling, ice fishing (one week in March), cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. For families there is canoeing, swimming, photography and wild-fruit picking. Access : By road
Road access (per the 'Contact us' page): take Route 155 North, then Chemin du Lac Édouard (turnoff at km 150, north of La Tuque). Also reachable by ATV on the provincial trail and by train (Via Rail).
