Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc

Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc is a family-run resort located in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts, in the heart of the Mauricie region, at the junction of the Mauricie and Lanaudière tourism regions. A family-owned property since 1994-1995 (officially opened in 1995), the estate spans about 7,000 acres. The outfitter is known for its speckled trout fishing across 10 stocked lakes, with dedicated trophy sites (3-to-5-lb rainbow trout at Lac Roche, 2-to-4-lb speckled trout at Lac Petit Rancho) as well as pike and smallmouth bass fishing (catch-and-release mandatory) on Lac Blanc, and winter ice fishing. Lodging includes auberge rooms (classic, champêtre, superior), fully equipped chalets (rustic, spacious, family, des Loutres) and a ready-to-camp (longhouse) experience offered in summer. Facilities include an indoor aquatic centre (heated pool, hot tub), a beach, hiking trails, a restaurant, and a wide range of guided or rental activities: helicopter tours, horseback riding, rabaska canoe rides, bear watching, paddleboarding, pontoon boating, clay-pigeon shooting, and in winter snowmobiling, dog sledding, trapper-guided snowshoeing and ice fishing. The outfitter is a member of Tourisme Durable Québec and has begun the Clé Verte (Green Key) certification process.
