Pourvoirie La Grande Ourse

About
A family outfitter founded in 1969, La Grande Ourse spans a 100 km² territory in Haute-Mauricie, on the doorstep of Abitibi between Parent and Clova, where 25 pristine lakes hide in the boreal forest. Fish for walleye, pike and trout with boat, motor and gas included, and hunt moose, black bear and small game (ruffed grouse, hare) in zone 14. Lodging is six rustic log cabins built in the 1960s, each with a range, fridge, wood stove, shower and toilet, sleeping 2 to 8. The lodge is the true gathering place: a warm common room and a deck facing the lake, and when night falls everyone meets around the fire under the stars. Simon, your host, is also your guide and accomplice: here you never feel like a customer, you feel like a guest.
