Pourvoirie du Barrage Gouin et du Magnan

Pourvoirie du Barrage Gouin & Magnan spans two sectors in the heart of the Haute-Mauricie, on the vast Réservoir Gouin (1,789 km² of water). The Barrage Gouin sector, at the foot of the dam, is the center of the action: boat fishing on the reservoir (walleye and pike), brook-trout fishing on three private lakes (Lac Castor Blanc, Lac Fouille Roche and Lac Caché), bear and small-game hunting on a 100 km² territory, and snowmobile and ATV trails. Guests stay at the guest lodge or in a cabin, with a restaurant, gas station, convenience store, dock and boat rental. 53 km farther up, the Magnan sector is a summer paradise of fine-sand beaches on an isolated island, where you stay in an exile cabin or aboard one of three luxury houseboats, ferried in by boat-taxi. Lodging on the American plan (with meals) or European plan (no meals). Evening fishing guiding is offered in both sectors.
