Pourvoirie et Camping Pimodan

Pourvoirie et camping Pimodan, owned by the Municipality of Kiamika in the Laurentides, sits on the shore of Lake Pimodan, a lake stocked every year that offers lake trout and brook trout fishing. Born in 1980 from the receding boundaries of the Papineau-Labelle wildlife reserve, the outfitter brings together four lakeside chalets — Bétula (round-log construction), Diotte (1 km from the campground, private, with a lake view), Tamias and Deschamps (facing the beach) — plus a developed campground of about 70 sites, most with water and sewer services. The surrounding free territory is suited to hunting, notably white-tailed deer in the fall. On site: laundry, showers, a public phone, propane gas, ice and worms, firewood, and rentals of rowboats, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and paddleboards. For fun: volleyball and badminton courts, a children's playground, the Entr'Amis community hall (ping-pong, mississippi, beanbag toss) and an ATV trail nearby.
