Forêt Baera

About
Forêt Baera is a family-run outfitter in the Laurentides, on the edge of the Outaouais near Kiamika, where fishing, hunting, vacationing and camping all unfold around Lake Berneuil. The territory has six trout lakes — lake trout (grey trout), brook trout and rainbow trout — plus a pike lake, stocked to strict standards; you can fish with lures or fly, in summer and on the ice in winter. It is an exclusive territory for big and small game: white-tailed deer (baited 4–11 km² sectors with blinds), moose (a territory of about 24 km²), black bear (high density managed across 80 bait sites) and small game, by bow, crossbow, muzzleloader or rifle, with a guide service available on request. Lodging is in nine eco-friendly self-contained cabins — from the modern Lodge to secluded rustic camps like Le Panache and Le Ruisseau — and on rustic campsites reachable by boat, on foot or by vehicle. A family business since 2015, Steve and his team offer a warm welcome in an authentic setting to unplug deep in nature, as a couple, a family or with friends.
