About

Pourvoirie du Milieu offers the rental of 19 well-equipped, comfortable cabins spread across a vast 254 km² territory of mountains, lakes and rivers at St-Michel-des-Saints (Lanaudière). The accommodations are set far apart, many alone on their own lake. There is no electricity in the cabins: they run on solar panels (lighting and water pump) and propane (refrigerators, stoves, hot-water tanks). The territory has about a hundred bodies of water, of which roughly 70 lakes are fished, and allows fishing for 8 species: walleye, pike, smallmouth bass, brook trout (native and stocked), lake trout (grey trout), splake, yellow perch and landlocked salmon. In the fall, small-game hunting (ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, woodcock, hare, duck, Canada goose) is offered along more than 100 km of forest roads, and 10 exclusive moose-hunting territories are distributed across the domain.
