About

Pourvoirie Coin Lavigne is one of the oldest outfitters in the Lanaudière region, in Saint-Côme. First a waystation for lumberjacks until the late 1940s, it is today a family-run outfitter operated since 2009 by Mylène and Sylvain. Its name comes from the location of the reception building, at the corner (coin) of the Lavigne and L'Assomption rivers. Set in the mountains, it has eight lakes filled with wild and stocked trout (brook trout and rainbow trout), with stocking twice a week in the summer season and one lake stocked with trout of 2 pounds and up in May and June. On offer are ten chalets with electricity along the two rivers (capacities of 4 to 10 people), eight chalets right on the lakeshore, plus five two-service campsites. The reception building includes a snack-bar restaurant with a bar and two upstairs rooms, gasoline, fishing tackle, and motor and battery rentals. Beyond fishing, you can hunt moose (exclusive territory), bear and small game, and go snowshoeing, hiking, kayaking and pedal-boating. In winter, the outfitter becomes a snowmobile waystation offering food service and gasoline, and also gives access to ATV/quad trails.
