Pourvoirie du lac Husky sits at the 50th parallel, in the heart of the Quebec boreal forest north of Lac-Saint-Jean, with its hundreds of square kilometers of wild forest and its countless lakes. Lac Husky itself — a headwater lake feeding the Mistassibi River, 8 km long — is renowned for its fishing. In summer and winter alike, the outfitter hosts and guides its visitors for fishing, hunting, hiking, canoeing, quad (ATV) riding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. Lodging in two cabins: the Mitcikogan (the main cabin, American plan with meals, fireplace) and the Jishkogan (the secondary cabin, European plan, full kitchen, wood stove, billiard table). A company of the Groupe Aventure Waskahegen (Indigenous tourism).

Accessible by vehicle, at the 50th parallel (Lac-Saint-Jean). GPS: 50° 27' 15" N, 71° 56' 02" W. From Dolbeau-Mistassini: follow Route 169 (boul. DeQuen), turn onto the forest road near the Belzile gas station, then straight to km 189 and follow the Pourvoirie du lac Husky signs (carte.pdf available on the site).
