Pourvoirie du Lac Dionne

About
About fifty kilometres north of Baie-Comeau on Quebec's Côte-Nord, Pourvoirie du Lac Dionne sits on a 52 km² exclusive-rights territory dotted with some thirty lakes, spared from forest fires for several hundred years, where wildlife and vegetation flourish. It is known for its native brook trout with salmon-coloured flesh — around 9,000 trout are caught here each year — and you can reserve a day of salmon fishing on the Godbout River during your stay. The territory is set up for moose hunting (salt licks and blinds) and black bear (baited sites spread across the 52 km²), and also welcomes small-game hunting. Lodging is in fully equipped chalets with showers (European plan, 2 to 15 people), for a fishing or hunting trip, a family getaway or a corporate outing. Easy road access from Baie-Comeau, even in a regular passenger vehicle.
