About

A genuine outdoor playground in the Lac-Beauport area near Quebec City, Pourvoirie du Lac-Beauport is an accessible, authentic fishing destination for the whole family. Its pond is abundantly stocked with rainbow trout, ready to put up a fight on every cast, along with brook trout. No experience or licence is required (the operator holds a fishing-pond permit): you pay a site access fee, then the fish you catch by the pound, as catch-and-release is prohibited. Gear and bait are available on site, and guides are happy to advise beginners and experienced anglers alike. The access fee also opens up several kilometres of walking trails and picnic areas. Fishing runs year-round (summer season 16 May to 30 September), and in winter the site also hosts dog-sledding outings in partnership with La Meute Nocturne. Memorable days out with family or friends guaranteed.
