Pourvoirie Damville

About
Pourvoirie Damville is a refined-comfort forest lodge set in boreal country on the 49th parallel in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region. Its exclusive-rights territory covers about 11,300 hectares (~113 km²) and holds 43 indigenous lakes plus the majestic Ashuapmushuan River. The freshly renovated lodge overlooks Lake Damville and its beach; it has 3 refined rooms (including two family suites and the Boréale suite for couples), offered on the American plan (full board), along with fully equipped chalets available on the European or American plan. For fishing: northern pike, walleye, brook trout, lake trout and whitefish, with guides on request. For hunting: guided big-game hunting (moose, black bear) on private land, plus migratory-bird hunting (geese, woodcock, ducks) and small game. In winter, the Winter Dream stay offers snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding and ice fishing, all guided. In summer, the lake and its beaches lend themselves to kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding and wildlife watching. An immersive nature experience, for families, friends or couples.
Packages
No published price — hunting stays arranged on request ('RÉSERVEZ' / 'CONTACT US' buttons leading to the request form). Re-verified 2026-08-06: still no price on /chasse or /activites. Guided big-game hunt (moose and black bear) on an exclusive-rights territory of about 11,300 hectares (~113 km²). Renewed hunting equipment placed at strategic points; blinds. The activities page names hunting guide Mario Bilodeau and an association with Magic Safari Lodge / the Bilodeau universe. The hunting page also mentions wolf as a hunted species — no existing species slug, noted here only, excluded from targets. (Area discrepancy: homepage and the EN hunting page state 11,300 hectares; the activities page still states '113,000 hectares' — likely a typo; value kept at 11,300 ha.)
No published price — arranged on request. Re-verified 2026-08-06: still no price on /chasse or /activites. The Lac St Jean region is a migration corridor: white goose, Canada goose, woodcock and duck hunting (all migratory-bird species → gibier-migrateur slug), with dogs, on the territory or on the farmland around Lac St Jean. Also small game: partridge/ruffed grouse. Fall season (and spring for goose).
