About
Pourvoirie St-Zénon is a family fishing estate in Lanaudière whose lakes teem with brook trout and rainbow trout. Lac Bois Franc, the largest on the territory at 1.5 km by 0.5 km, receives more than 35,000 trout a year and is restocked weekly: day fishing starts at 6:30 a.m., rowboat included, with clear quotas and tips from staff who fish the territory every day. For a longer stay, the outfitter offers 9 cabins alone on a private lake and 6 cabins on Lac Bois Franc, including 3 mini-cabins, sleeping 1 to 19 people on the European plan, 4 campsites with electricity, running water, a sanitary block and a fish-cleaning room, plus Le Refuge du Vagabond, a rustic 6-bunk shelter perched on a mountain top and attached to the astronomical observatory. In the fall the territory opens to hunting: small game (hare, partridge), white-tailed deer over baited sites with a blind and sector exclusivity, black bear and moose. In winter it is ice fishing on prepared zones and private lakes, snowshoeing on trails groomed daily, cross-country skiing, sledding and skating. Owned by Sylvia Masson and Magalie Dionne since 2019, the outfitter has been welcoming anglers for more than 50 years.

Access : By road
Road access. The outfitter sits in Lanaudière on Route 131, and every one of its lakes can be reached by car. Registering at the reception is mandatory both on entering and on leaving the territory, so the outfitter always knows who is on it. In winter, fishing zones 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 as well as the private lakes Noir, Paul and Latour are reachable only by 4x4 or all-wheel-drive vehicle; the private ice-fishing lake is likewise restricted to 4x4s and SUVs. On the territory only electric motors are allowed on the lakes, and ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes and snowmobiles are not permitted.
