Pourvoirie Clauparo Monts-Valin

Born from a former private fishing club, Pourvoirie Clauparo welcomes guests deep in the Monts-Valin. The territory is known for its native speckled (brook) trout — a 7.5 lb specimen was caught here in 2012 — fished from mid-May to mid-September across an extensive network of lakes and rivers, whether by lake or river, fly-fishing or light casting. The hunting territory, split into three distinct sectors for safety and hunt quality, offers moose (a network of salt licks and blinds), black bear (baited sites) and small game (ruffed grouse, hare). In winter, the region is known for exceptional snow accumulation (5 to 7 metres), ideal for snowmobiling. Lodging is in fully equipped cabins spread across three sectors with private lakes: the Lac Archer main camp (several cabins sleeping up to 12, with a billiard room), the intimate, independent Lac Périgny cabin (up to 6 people), and the connected Lac Léonce cabin duo (up to 14 people). A family package (kayaking, swimming, wildlife observation) is also offered.
