About

Nestled in the heart of the Côte-Nord, Pourvoirie Chez Pelchat has welcomed outdoor lovers for more than 65 years on an exclusive 10 km² territory. Known for its brook-trout fishing in private lakes — where only electric motors are allowed (a 15-trout possession quota) — the outfitter offers lodging in six fully renovated, 4-star-rated chalets, from the Martin chalet for 2 to 4 people to the large Roméo chalet, for a capacity of 2 to 16 people. Each chalet has a view over Lac de l'Îles, a balcony and private dock, a wood fireplace, a propane stove, electricity and heating, running (non-potable) water, full dishware, a BBQ and a freezer. In summer, guests fish, kayak, pedal-boat, ride ATVs, hike, swim and watch wildlife (moose, black bears and birds). In winter come snowmobiling, ice fishing on the frozen lakes and snowshoeing. A field-dressing room, an included boat and guide service on request round out the experience.
