Pourvoirie Cécaurel

About
For more than 50 years, Pourvoirie Cécaurel has occupied a private peninsula overlooking the Kiamika reservoir, in the heart of Parc régional Kiamika in the Hautes-Laurentides. The estate combines sandy beaches, bays and islands, and offers three waterfront lodging options: ten log chalets (297 to 800 sq ft, capacity 4 to 6 people, wood stove, BBQ, equipped kitchen), ready-to-camp prospector tents (made by ATUK, accessible by boat only, 7 km from the main site) and campsites for tents or RVs. Fishing is at the center of the offering — landlocked salmon, northern pike and yellow perch — with a full tackle shop, a fish hut for cleaning and a freezer. On-site: a marina with docks, fuel for boats and floatplanes (100LL), a boat launch, a convenience store, a laundromat and a seaplane base. Rentals of motorized rowboats (12 Princecraft Yukon 15 ft, 15 hp motor), canoes (15 Nova Craft) and pontoons (2 Princecraft 21 ft). Activities: fishing, water sports (skiing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding), hiking, canoe camping. Owner: Nicolas Morin, a fly-fishing enthusiast. No pets allowed.
