About

Lac Perdu is an exclusive-rights fishing and hunting lodge north of the 50th parallel, in Quebec, in operation since 1980. On an exclusive territory of roughly 150 square miles (≈390 km²) holding more than 100 lakes, Lac Perdu itself (≈30 square miles, 16 miles long, 88 miles of shoreline, 4 rivers, depths to 250 ft) offers quality fishing for northern pike (5 to 45 lb+, some over 60 in), lake trout (averaging 4 to 6 lb) and trophy brook trout (up to 10 lb, in the rivers), as well as walleye. The main camp is self-contained, sitting on a point in the middle of the lake, with 2 satellite camps in the backcountry. The outfitter also advertises bear hunting in spring and moose hunting in fall on exclusive territory. Lodging is in private chalets with boats; European plan (meals not provided). For families: sandy beaches, pedal boats and a hot tub.

Good to know

The homepage advertises 'Fall Moose Hunting in our exclusive territories'. A /hunting page exists but recycles the fishing copy (trout/pike) verbatim with no rate or hunt-package detail, and is in any case an orphan (sitemap only, not linked from the homepage). No package, price structure, or duration published — quote only (contact form/phone). 150 sq mile exclusive territory.

Good to know

Fishing on exclusive territory (Lac Perdu, 16 miles long, 100+ lakes over 150 sq miles). Species: lake trout (avg 4–6 lb), northern pike (5–45 lb+, some over 60 in), brook trout (up to 10 lb, in rivers), walleye. European plan only. Check-in 2pm, check-out 10am. PRICE SEEN ONLY ON THE UNLINKED /rates PAGE (sitemap orphan, not reachable from the homepage — nav only links Home/Fishing/Contact) — not treated as published: 'USD $1,000pp for 7 days, minimum 2 people; taxes and fishing licences not included; boat and motor with gas per 2 paying customers; children 12 and under free when accompanied by 2 adults; -10% if you bring your own boat (own fuel)'. Price quoted in USD, not CAD. Re-verified 2026-06-14 (v2.2): same $1,000pp/7-day rate, still orphan. NOTE: a separate orphan page /accommodation shows '$150 Lodge Room' / '$250 Family Suite' but those are UNMODIFIED Zyro/Hostinger template placeholders (boilerplate features 'Air Conditioning', 'Flat Screen TV', 'Complimentary Breakfast' — nonsensical for an off-grid lodge 4 h up a logging road) — NOT real prices, do not use.

Prices are provided by the outfitter — check availability when booking.
