About

Le Picanoc is a four-season resort and ecoresponsible (solar-powered) outfitter on the shore of beautiful Lac Earley, in Kazabazua, in the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau (Outaouais). It rents two brand-new, high-end chalets right on the lake — the 'Chalet des Pins' and the 'Chalet des Rives' — each with two bedrooms (up to six people), a full kitchen, a bathroom with shower, an outdoor fire pit, a motorboat, two paddle boards and two kayaks. Guests fish for bass (catch and release) and pike on the lake, run whitewater kayaks on the Picanoc river, swim and hike. For hunting, a 1,600-acre private territory in Zone 10 West, rounded out by access to crown land, is fitted with 26 high-end camera-equipped blinds: moose, white-tailed deer and black bear hunting, along with guided wild-turkey and Canada-goose packages, with a harvest rate near 100% on the guided packages. A place where tranquility and absolute calm come into their own, open twelve months a year.
