About

Pourvoirie Mijocama is a non-exclusive-rights outfitter on the shore of Lac Giles, in Gracefield, in the Haute-Gatineau (Quebec Outaouais). People come here to unwind in wild nature: there is no Wi-Fi and the electrical supply is limited (a generator for a few hours in the evening). Lodging is in fully equipped cabins (European plan, equipped kitchen, running water and hot water, LED lighting), from the Petit Camp for 2 people to the "deluxe" Cèdre cabin for 10; camping and a prospector camp are also available. Fishing for smallmouth and largemouth bass, northern pike, lake trout, and lake whitefish, and, on one particular small lake, brook trout and rainbow trout; several lakes renowned for lake trout are close by (Trente-et-Un-Milles, Pémichangan). Hunting for white-tailed deer and black bear (zone 10) over baited sites and tree stands, with small game and migratory birds also advertised. Year-round activities: hiking and mountain biking, canoeing and sea kayaking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, wildlife watching, and an introduction to trapping. Dogs are welcome (leashed and quiet).
